Reference Books

• Introduction to Algorithms One of the best references on computer algorithms.
• The C++ Programming Language by Stroustrup. The C++ reference.
• Effective C++ : 50 Specific Ways to Improve Your Programs and Designs A great little book if you want to improve your C++ knowledge. There is also More Effective C++, which is not as good, but still excellent.
• The C++ Standard Library: A Tutorial and Reference. While Stroustrup covers the standard library and the STL, this book is much easier to understand and use. Also visit the book's website for code examples.
