Must be well-formed
<p>This is <em>bad</p></em>
Element and attribute names in lower case.
Use end tags.
<p>This</p> or This<p/> but not This<p>.
Attribute values must always be quoted, like <td rowspan="1">this</td>
Only attribute-value pairs are allowed. <dl compact> is not allowed, use <dl compact="compact"> instead.
