Messages

• Messages consist of one or more logical parts
• Each part is associated with a type from some type system.
• Parts are a flexible mechanism for describing the logical abstract content of a message.
• In RPC a part may represent a parameter in the message.
• The following message consists of a purchase order and an invoice.
