Bayesian Belief Networks

Naive Bayes assumption of conditional independence is too restrictive, but learning is intractable without some such assumptions. Hmmm.....
Bayesian Belief networks describe conditional independence among subsets of variables
They allow combining prior knowledge about (in)dependencies among variables with observed training data
Also known as, Bayes nets.
